Youth Development
In order to help build a progressive nation, we believe strongly in the development of the nation's youth. Our approach to youth development focuses on educational as well as personal development. We look at our contribution to these areas of development as social investments, benefiting the community and nation in which we reside as well as ensuring the sustainability of the industry in which we operate.
ALAM - the region's nerve centre for Maritime Excellence
Our incessant drive to build a maritime nation continued with our focus on our very own maritime training academy, Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM). The development of ALAM ensures that the nation's maritime industry is continuously provided with skilled and competent personnel, in order to stay on course towards becoming a leading maritime nation.
Education Sponsorship

Navigate Your Career
Navigate Your Career (NYC) is a corporate social responsibility programme aimed at creating awareness amongst Malaysian undergraduates on the importance of soft skills, besides strong academic qualifications in determining future success. It has always been important to MISC to make a positive contribution to communities where we operate, and not only through our business activities themselves. The culture that we have adopted is to not only provide monetary contributions to various charitable causes and members of the community, we also create avenues for our employees to be involved in playing the part of caring corporate citizens.
